This week we will be reading Common Sense, the pamphlet written by Thomas Paine. If you were not able to buy a copy, here is a free copy online:

As you read through, be sure not to get hung up on every word.

What you are looking for is quite simple; what are Paine’s best arguments for freedom?

Make a list for yourself as you read. That will help you this week and next. For example, Paine writes that monarchy (having a king rule a country) is evil.
